A recent NBC/Wall Street Journal poll revealed the Democratic Party, led by Pres. Obama, is losing public support on the economy, foreign policy and federal deficit. It’s a revealing, but not surprising poll. We are entering mid-term elections and the opposing party, in this case, the GOP will typically do better at the ballot box. However, what surprised me was the 17 percent difference between Dems & Reps on “looking out for the middle class.” This narrow lead hasn’t been seen in decades according a Politico article.

If the GOP can overcome its infighting between Tea Party and establishment, then it can turn this voter sentiment it into electoral wins in 2016.
